Tannon understands, first hand, how technology solutions are built, marketed, sold and supported – as well as the leadership and technical skills critical to their success -- most recently as Chief Operations Officer for PayKings/Merchant Payments Acceptance Corp. (2016-2017) and Clear Payment Solutions (2013-2014) and, earlier, in Strategic Market Development for Spectrum Merchant Services (2003-2004) as Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development for U.S. Merchant Systems (2002-2003) and VP Domestic Agent Bank Sales for First Data (1997 -2002).
He has shaped thought leadership across the fintech sector in leading retained executive search and recruiting that target bright minds with fresh perspectives in emerging, market-disruptive new fintech technologies and services for both banks and merchant organizations. He has successfully identified, recruited and placed board members, CEOs, COOs and CFOs, as well leaders in business development, product development, sales, technology, operations and risk/compliance.
His leadership skills functional expertise spans data and payment processing, e-commerce, mobile/tablet and cloud payment solutions, digital loyalty programs, geo-location digital marketing, sales engines, fraud detection and prevention, chargebacks and prepaid solutions.
